Fortinet is growing and we are looking to hire Professional Services Engineers to join our FortiNAC team. A Professional Services Engineer is a key, highly visible post sales position that delivers FortiNAC configuration and deployment services. This person will be the technical lead on Professional Services projects. Project responsibilities include analyzing customer needs and requirements, understanding the customer environment, leading the project team in executing technical implementation plans, and overseeing the execution of service delivery that meets customer requirements, building long term relationships and achieving high customer satisfaction with reference ability.

Responsibilities:
- Function as a product expert to assist customers with detailed needs analysis and implementation of FortiNAC solution project delivery
- Technical lead on project team that will mentor new customers through initial solution deployments and existing customers through solution expansions and enhancements
- Assess current environment that requirements are to be met within. Evaluate project scope to determine feasibility and resource requirements
- Perform technical design expertise for project deployments
- Create, verify and test FortiNAC configurations
- Create and implement comprehensive FortiNAC deployment test plans
- Lead client staff in implementing Best Practices on FortiNAC solutions
- Perform interoperability integration and evaluation of products that interact with FortiNAC
- Create general knowledge transfer documents and lead client sessions
- Takes initiative; assumes a leadership role in an effective and positive manner
- Ability to travel domestic and international
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in a services role
- Networking and security protocols and applications experience such as: TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, FTP, DNS, IPSec, PKI, OSPF, RIP, VLANs
- Solid understanding of general security and networking principals and technologies such as Switching, Routing and the OSI model
- 3+ years of experience in LAN/WAN /Internet Support or Administration
- 3+ years of experience with Network Security products
- CCNA and / or NSE certification preferred
- Experience with Linux appliance-based solutions
- REST, XML, javascript, HTML, Shell, MySQL experience a plus
- Demonstrated skills at working within a team environment
- Positive and consistent customer support and service attitude
- Ability to establish technical credibility with customers
- Excellent listening, verbal and writing skills
