We currently have a remote contract-to-hire opportunity available for an IT Consultant with experience in PLM and at least 4 years of experience in IT consulting. This role would be primarily remote, however, travel up to 25% is required.
A bachelor's or graduate degree in business administration, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Food Science is preferred. Experience with Process Manufacturing industries is a plus. Experience with implementing and administering Oracle Fusion Cloud Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management for Process would be highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform consultant and business analyst roles on business-to-business (B2B) software implementation projects.
- Provide functional support on projects
- Proactively engage with stakeholders at all levels throughout the implementation process to analyze the customers' needs and alignment with requirements.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of the software being implemented.
- Work in partnership with the FCID project manager on your projects to own the solution.
- Contribute to continued process improvement, and develop repeatable methodologies and best practices, while maintaining thorough project documentation.
- Demonstrate solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Recommend implementation resourcing and high-level planning on prospective project opportunities
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies relevant to the food industry and software implementation.
Essential Requirements:
- Outstanding general consulting skills (soft skills, structured thinking, effective report writing, communication, presenting, and stakeholder engagement)
- Knowledge and experience of significant aspects of related disciplines such as Enterprise Software, Enterprise Architecture, Agile Software Development and Digital Technologies
- Experience with Manufacturing or Retail industries including specific experience with enterprise supply chain solutions
- At least 4 years of IT consulting experience
- Ability to operate in a fluid environment and comfortable with high levels of uncertainty
- Up to 25% travel required
