Job Details

Job Title: Data Specialist (Gen AI, LLM, NLP)

Location: Remote (Anywhere in US)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize machine learning and deep learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.

  • Work with LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, etc.) for text generation, classification, summarization, Q&A, and other NLP tasks.

  • Design and refine prompts and implement prompt engineering techniques to improve model performance and output reliability.

  • Conduct data preprocessing, including cleaning, transformation, and annotation, with an emphasis on unstructured healthcare data (e.g., clinical notes, EHRs).

  • Deploy models into production environments using MLOps tools and best practices.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

  • Implement methods for model output testing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure compliance, accuracy, and alignment with domain needs.

  • Stay current with research and advancements in GenAI, LLMs, and NLP and proactively incorporate learnings into team projects.

  • Contribute to the development of reusable components, libraries, and internal tools for accelerating GenAI use cases.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field.

  • Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning concepts.

  • Hands-on experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.

  • Proven expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, LLaMA, Claude, or Mistral.

  • Experience in prompt engineering for optimizing generative AI outputs.

  • Proficiency in data preprocessing techniques, especially for healthcare datasets.

  • Familiarity with model deployment pipelines and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow).

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical workflows and AI models.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Experience with testing and validating ML model outputs for reliability and bias.
