Position Title: SAP Security Expert Task Role Design & Modification
Department: IT / Cybersecurity
Location: Virtual (Remote)

1. Job Purpose
Provide expert-level support in SAP security architecture, focusing on the design, implementation, and modification of security task roles across SAP modules. Ensure compliance with internal controls, segregation of duties (SoD), and regulatory requirements.
2. Key Responsibilities
Design and configure SAP security roles (task and composite roles) based on business requirements.
Modify existing roles to align with evolving business processes and compliance standards.
Conduct role testing and validation in development and QA environments.
Collaborate with functional teams to gather role requirements and ensure proper access provisioning.
Perform SoD analysis and remediation using tools like SAP GRC.
Maintain documentation for role design, changes, and approvals.
Support audits and provide evidence of role compliance.
Monitor and troubleshoot access issues and security violations.
3. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Deep understanding of SAP authorization concepts (PFCG, SU01, SUIM, etc.).
Experience with SAP modules such as ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, and GRC.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, etc.).
Ability to interpret functional requirements into technical role designs.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
4. Education and Experience
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience in SAP Security with a focus on role design and access management. SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate System Security Architect) preferred.
