Role: Electrical Design Engineer ( 5 Openings )

Location: 100% REMOTE

Job Type: Full Time

Ideal Candidate:

* 5+ years of experience from another engineering firm for the power utility industry and a P.E. license.

* Client is not willing to sponsor any work from USA

* Minimum of 5 years experience from USA

Job Details:

We are looking for five experienced Electrical Studies Engineers with 5+ years of power delivery industry experience. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about power systems analysis, protective relaying, and delivering client-focused engineering solutions.

Technical Focus Areas:

You will work in one or more of the following disciplines:

  1. Design Studies

Substation grounding, EMF, insulation coordination, transient simulation, power quality, motor starting, AC interference.

Tools: CDEGS, WinIGS, ATP-EMTP, PSCAD.

  1. Protective Relaying

Short circuit analysis, coordination, relay settings, SCADA integration, NERC compliance, arc flash.

Tools: SEL AcSELerator, GE Enervista, ASPEN Oneliner, CAPE, SKM-PTW, ETAP, RSCAD/RTDS.

  1. Power System Planning

Load flow, contingency analysis, interconnection studies, voltage stability, dynamic performance, NERC compliance.

Tools:
PSS/E, PSLF, PowerWorld, Python scripting.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).

5 years of relevant power industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced coursework or training in protective relaying, power system transients, or electromagnetics.

Professional Engineer (P.E. or P.Eng.) license.
