SAP MM Applications Manager

 

Chicago based company has an immediate need for a SAP MM Applications Manager for a full time position. This role is partial onsite and partial remote and will require the candidate to live in the Chicago area.

 

Typical duties for this position would include:

  • Provide users/customers with solutions as they pertain to their business with SAP S/4 HANA ERP
    ·Support for the integration and implementation of SAP MM PP Supply Chain
    ·        Participate in system upgrades by assisting in planning and testing those upgrades.
    ·        Stay abreast of SAP releases and applications and present opportunities for improvement to the business units.
    ·        Determine functional requirements and recommends workable SAP solutions to management and staff.
    Develop new, or modifies existing software solutions to satisfy ongoing company business needs

Requirements for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in SAP MM Skills
  • At least 3 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA MM module
  • End to End implementation experience in SAP MM with in-depth understanding of the below modules in SAP S4Hana MM
    • Master data – Material and Vendor
    • Sourcing – Source lists, Quota, Purchase info records
    • Procurement processes – standard, subcontracting, External Service procurement, Contracts, scheduling agreement, Stock transfer orders, Release procedures
    • Planning – Consumption based planning, Reorder point planning.
    • Inventory management – cycle counting, physical inventory, special inventory handling, stock transfer, reservations, transfer posting, consignment inventory
    • S/4 Embedded Warehouse management, Stock room
    • Integration with other SAP modules like SAP SD, SAP PP and SAP FICO
    • Ability to identify and design integration with other modules like SD, FICO, CS and PP for various business scenarios.
    • Experience managing a team of at least two people
    • Must have experience with technical and functional skills
