Developer IV

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Developer IV in Reston, VA.

Duties Include:
* Leads enterprise application design and oversees the implementation of efficient end-to-end solutions
* Aligns technology goals with business needs, enforces coding standards, and drives innovation by integrating cloud-native and emerging technologies

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent
* Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or relevant cloud certifications
* 8+ years of related experience in their specific area with experience leading teams on projects with similar scope and complexity
* Experience as a lead developer for projects similar in scope and responsibility
* Expertise in cloud platforms AWS and container orchestration
* Knowledge of database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Oracle and Redshift)
* Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React.js, Vue.js) and back-end technologies like Java, Python, Node.js, Bash, and PowerShell
* Comprehensive understanding of modern front-end and back-end frameworks
* Deep knowledge of DevSecOps and CI/CD best practices
* Strong focus on microservices architecture, serverless computing, and API management
* Familiarity with AI/ML integrations, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems
* Proficiency with tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
