Sr. Manager for HR Systems

Miami, FL (4x a week onsite and remote Fridays)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Builds relationships with aligned business operational leaders and HR operational COEs, ensuring they always feel supported by the HR Product team
  • Partners with functional groups to develop process landscape, gap analysis, product transformation plans, organizational impact analysis, and long-term change workstream strategy
  • Drives the exploration, evaluation, recommendation, and design of new tools, features and functionalities
  • Owns the product backlog according to stakeholder requirements across assigned HR systems
  • Supports the prioritization of the backlog based on urgency and criticality of requirements
  • Analyzes market and industry trends to anticipate stakeholder needs
  • Manages vendor relationships including vendor selection
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation of data mapping, data transformation and testing results.
  • Defines business requirements and translates them into a deliverable project plan across the HR functions.
  • Drives process standardization and compliance and process improvements
  • Reviews all technical specifications ensuring appropriate IT build based upon the business requirements
  • Defines test strategy, test cases, and test scenarios with the ability to test, identify appropriate data sets and assess expected results

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS

  • Highly strategic, proactive, and organized.Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR, systems and data experience with people leadership and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights including proven experience with data mapping and data conversion processes.
  • Demonstrated experience as a project manager using AGILE, PMP, or Scrum methodologies (or equivalent)
  • Proven track record of product management supporting HR process areas, systems, and workflows
  • Ability to define and execute multiple detailed activity plans simultaneously
  • Skilled in customer facing activities covering requirements gathering, data preparation, cutover support, timeline management, and documentation preparation
  • Ability to communicate and work collaboratively within a team and have strong influencing skills
  • Ability to coach and advise stakeholders
  • Ability to conduct and facilitate workshops with business representatives, management and executives, team member resources, and external third-party groups
  • Ability to manage ambiguity with demonstrated confidence & credibility
  • Works independently with minimal direction
  • Strong judgement, learning agility and decision-making skills
  • Experience working with contemporary HR Technology platforms (e.g., Success Factors, Salesforce etc.)
