Job Details
Position Summary:
We are seeking a technically proficient and solution-oriented Service Now / JIRA Developer to support the development, automation, and enhancement of CLIENT s cyber security compliance and workflow management platforms. The ideal candidate will design and implement custom workflows, dashboards, integrations, and automation scripts in Service Now and JIRA to streamline RMF activities, POA&M tracking, audit responses, and reporting capabilities for cyber security programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and maintain custom Service Now and JIRA applications, workflows, forms, and automation scripts supporting CLIENT s cyber security and FISMA compliance lifecycle.
- Implement system enhancements to track cyber security tasks including ATO processing, POA&M management, ticket routing, compliance approvals, and audit tracking.
- Build and manage custom dashboards, performance analytics, and reporting features for tracking metrics, task completion, and SLA adherence.
- Integrate Service Now with other cyber security tools (e.g., CSAM, Xacta, Tenable, Splunk) to support data synchronization and reporting.
- Ensure all developments align with federal IT security policies, CLIENT EA standards, and CM procedures.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for system users and administrators.
- Collaborate with security analysts, ISSOs, developers, and CLIENT stakeholders to gather requirements and deploy tested solutions into production environments.
- Participate in Agile development cycles and support testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing and customizing in ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Active Public Trust or Secret clearance.
- Experience creating and managing custom modules, business rules, client scripts, and integrations in ServiceNow.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, HTML/CSS, and JSON/XML for automation and interface development.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, ITSM, or Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance workflows including RMF, FISMA, POA&M, and audit documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow Application Developer, or Atlassian Certified Expert.
- Experience with ServiceNow GRC module, Security Operations (SecOps), or JIRA Service Management.
- Background supporting federal cybersecurity programs, particularly in compliance reporting and authorization processes.
- Understanding of DevSecOps toolchains and automation pipelines.
