Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Milpitas, CA (Onsite)
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with expertise in cable harness design, power distribution, and semiconductor equipment development. The ideal candidate will own the complete product cable harness design process from concept to manufacturing, ensuring seamless integration and stakeholder approvals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the cable harness design lifecycle, from concept to manufacturing, collaborating with stakeholders for approval.
  • Design and develop power and communication cables and harnesses, ensuring optimal signal integrity and safety compliance.
  • Create and review schematic designs, selecting appropriate electrical components for performance optimization.
  • Conduct component layout reviews and updates, ensuring efficient cable management for high and low voltage applications.
  • Implement best practices for cable routing, shielding, and strain relief to enhance reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, including semiconductor power distribution requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise in electrical design.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in cable harness design and electrical system integration.
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution, including high and low voltage applications.
  • Proficiency in schematic design, component selection, and layout optimization.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, engineers, and manufacturing teams.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor equipment design and electrical safety standards.
