Description
We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst to join our team on a Contract to permanent basis in Pomfret, Connecticut. In this role, you will provide technical support for end users, ensuring their hardware and software systems are functioning effectively. This position requires a hands-on and detail-oriented individual with expertise in troubleshooting, configuration, and system maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers for end users.
Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including memory upgrades, keyboard replacements, and motherboard installations.
Troubleshoot and manage user accounts, domains, and software-related issues.
Set up and resolve network connectivity problems for both local and remote devices.
Configure and test wireless access points to ensure seamless connectivity.
Collaborate with vendors to address and resolve technical challenges.
Provide support for devices such as Chromebooks, Apple devices, and Mac computers.
Deploy and manage software applications, including Microsoft Office Suites and Google Workspace.
Utilize tools like Active Directory to manage user permissions and system access.
Maintain detailed documentation of technical issues and resolutions.
Requirements
Proficiency in troubleshooting and configuring both Mac and PC systems.
Experience with Android devices, Apple devices, and Chromebooks.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace.
Familiarity with network technologies, including Cisco and Citrix.
Hands-on experience with configuration management and hardware deployments.
Certification in CompTIA A+ or Apple Certified Desktop Technician (ACDT) is preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and customer service skills to support end users effectively.
