Job Details

Role: Oracle Apps DBA

Location: Sunnyvale, CA Hybrid

This requirement is a DBA requirement with an implementation mind set rather than a support mind set. The individual should be able to analyze and implement new solutions. The candidate should be able to provide multiple options for a scenario or a solution.

  • Overall max experience of 10 years
  • Good understanding of Oracle products including DB, EBS, fusion middleware and Exadata is must.
  • Worked on Oracle EBS migration/upgrades, security patch analysis, OS upgrade.
  • Good understanding/commitment to learn of other middleware and/or open-source software so certain project(s) can be assigned.
  • Participate in the development and deployment of cutting-edge applications, systems, and processes.
  • Document processes, configurations, and solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and scalability.
  • Support and train team members on the adoption of new technologies.
  • Good understanding and experience implementing SRE principles and has working experience in the SRE org.
  • SRE experience including scripting in Python or Shell, automation, monitoring, OS and network troubleshooting, and GitHub.

Technical Skills: Implementation/Upgrade experience for the Oracle DBA, Oracle EBS DBA, Oracle Fusion DBA technology skills.

Soft Skills: communication abilities, a strong aptitude for acquiring new skills, and extensive experience in implementing diverse solutions and products in the past.
