Job Title: Certified Microsoft .NET Web Developer IV

Location: Madison, WI (Hybrid/Onsite preference may apply)

Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced Certified Microsoft .NET Web Developer IV to support the design, development, and enhancement of mission-critical applications. The role involves both new development and enhancements to existing systems, with a focus on high availability, integration, and compliance with accessibility standards.

Candidates must have proven success in:

  • Designing and maintaining enterprise web applications.
  • Developing and integrating web services and APIs.
  • Working in an Agile Scrum environment.
  • Collaborating in testing processes through reviews and analysis.

This role requires a high level of independence, creativity, and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and implement new features and enhancements in .NET Core applications.
  • Build and maintain secure, scalable, and accessible web applications.
  • Integrate applications with Oracle and DB2 databases.
  • Develop APIs and web services using modern frameworks (Swagger, Blazor).
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily scrums, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and defects.
  • Ensure compliance with coding standards, web accessibility, and security practices.
  • Document technical designs, processes, and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in .NET Core (8+) development.
  • 8+ years in C# .NET / MVC with enterprise application development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle and DB2 databases (SQL, stored procedures, triggers).
  • Experience with Blazor framework for modern web UI.
  • Expertise in requirements analysis, structured design, and MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) architecture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum methodology.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Web Accessibility coding & testing (WCAG standards).
  • WCF (Windows Communication Foundation).
  • Experience with WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation).
  • Familiarity with state government systems, unemployment insurance, or case management systems.
  • Knowledge of insurance/accounting domain.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Jira, GitHub.
