Job Details

The System Administrator for the ECM Development team is responsible for supporting core applications such as OpenText Captiva, Documentum, CTS, ProArchiver. Work on a fast-paced, energetic team that participates in high profile, mission critical applications, specializing in integration and content services. Develop and support enterprise application integration solutions that enable disparate applications to communicate and as well as applications that present electronic content to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out Functional and Integration testing and assist system users with user testing.
  • Deploy the Document Capture Process in production.
  • Perform regular maintenance on the Captiva environments, including software installation, upgrades, and patching.
  • manage all Security, Logging, Audit, and Usage requirements within the Captiva environment.
  • perform troubleshooting, resolution, and root cause analysis on issues that relate to the Captiva environment.
  • provide support for other applications such as Documentum, CTS, CSSAPP/ASSAP, ProArchiver, etc.

Qualifications

Education and Certifications:

Qualified candidates have earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or an equivalent degree

Required:

  • 3+ years of Captiva experience
  • 3+ years of Documentum experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be able to work in a team environment and establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Be able to work independently acts pro-actively, keeps management apprised of related issues.
  • Demonstrated time management techniques.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Participate in on-call support rotation.

Preferred:

  • Experience with installing, configuring, and administering all components of OpenText Captiva Capture on Windows server.
  • Experience with IIS/Apache/Tomcat configurations.
  • Experience with Application Load balancing.
  • Experience with SQL and ODBC.
  • Experience with OpenText Documentum upgrade/migration.
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Experience with Captiva module configurations, including ScanPlus, Multi-Directory Watch, Image Enhancement, IndexPlus, Classification, Recognition, Nuance OCR, Documentum Advanced Export, Copy, etc.
  • Experience with handling complex deployment coordinating with operation teams.
  • Experience with the Linux and Windows platforms.
  • Familiarization with tools to query log data such as Splunk.
  • Extensive skill in analyzing problems and identifying effective solutions.
  • Experience with collaborating with business users to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
