Overview

Under the direction of the Office of Information Technologyat the New Jersey Department of Education, the Senior Salesforce Developerwill be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforcesolutions with a strong emphasis on OmniStudio. This role will also leadintegration efforts between Salesforce and external systems, support ongoingenhancements, and serve as a senior technical resource within the team.

The developer will collaborate with program offices,evaluate user requests, document requirements, and deliver scalable solutionsthat meet business and technical specifications.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in Salesforce declarative environment (Flows, Validation, Process Builder)

  • Hand-on Salesforce configuration experience (objects, fields, layouts, security)

  • OmniStudio (FlexCards, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors)

  • Experience with Salesforce Web Services APIs - Force.com SOAP and REST-based web service APIs, the BULK API

  • Agile development experience

  • Ability to communicate ideas, concepts, and strategies to both technical and non-technical people

  • Requirements Documentation & Functional Specs

  • Vendor/Partner Integration Strategy Evaluation

  • Solution Design & Coding to Specification

  • System Landscape Definition & Gap Analysis

  • Ability to lead design sessions and communicate design options to clients

  • Testing Strategy & Execution
