Description

We are seeking an Application Support Analysts based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of application support, including troubleshooting complex bank enterprise applications, database management, and network infrastructure maintenance. This role also involves working with cloud computing concepts and platforms, and you will be expected to manage and support applications in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and provide support for complex bank enterprise applications, including application upgrades, vulnerability management, and custom-built applications

Manage database systems like SQL Server and SSIS ETL functionality, including rewriting complex queries and performing database maintenance tasks

Handle network protocols and infrastructure components, including routers, switches, and firewalls

Utilize monitoring and diagnostic tools for proactive system health monitoring and troubleshooting

Work with virtualization technologies and containerization platforms

Familiarize yourself with cloud computing concepts and platforms, and manage and support applications in cloud environments

Handle incident management, including ticket triaging, prioritization, resolution, and escalation in line with defined SLAs

Maintain proficiency in change management processes, including assessing the impact of changes, planning deployments, and executing change implementation

Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships

Utilize advanced analytical skills to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions

Prioritize tasks based on business impact and urgency, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies in all application support activities

Create comprehensive technical documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and enhance support efficiency.Analy

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the role of Application Support Engineer
Proficiency in Database management and configuration is required
Experience in working with EO/IR systems is essential
Proficiency in Microsoft tools and applications is a must
Must have experience in AB Testing and its applications
Knowledge and experience in Active Directory is required
Must have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Computer Hardware
Experience in Configuration Management is a must
Proficiency in SSIS ETL is required
Must have knowledge and experience in .NET C++ programming
Application Support skills are essential for this role
