Job Details
The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, building, and managing cloud environments using AWS services and Terraform, with a focus on automation, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to design secure and scalable AWS cloud environments.
Create architecture design documents, runbooks, and deployment guidelines.
Build infrastructure using Terraform, and manage deployments to test and production environments.
Monitor deployments and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Lead and guide DevOps best practices within the team.
Must-Have Skills:
Terraform & DevOps Tooling:
Advanced expertise with Terraform, including custom modules and backend configurations.
Familiarity with code quality tools like TFSec, GitLeaks, Semgrep.
Experience with Atlantis for Terraform pull request-based deployments.
Working knowledge of GitHub Actions and OIDC for automation pipelines.
AWS Cloud Services:
Lambda: Automating metrics gathering and integrations.
EKS/ECS/ECR: Container deployment and configuration.
SSM (Systems Manager): Setup and management.
EC2, ASG: Custom AMI creation with security agents like Cortex and Tenable.
Control Tower, Cognito, Route53, Secrets Manager.
Advanced S3 usage: bucket policies, lifecycle, and expiration configurations.
Knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework, especially around Security, Cost Optimization, and Performance Efficiency.
Nice-to-Have (Secondary Skills):
Experience with Data Analytics, API Design, and Python scripting.
Soft Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication.
Proven team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
Positive attitude and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
