RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Sausalito, CA is looking for a Business Systems Analyst.

Summary:
Recently, this client has selected a new Retail forecasting and inventory management solution (item planning). This software is related to item planning, PLM, replenishment, allocations, forecasting. This software will assess the retail forecast and historical sales - determines what products to buy when, and how much to stock stores appropriately. The Business Systems Analyst collects a variety of data (sales, product, inventory) and can help create future sales forecast and buy recommendations. This role is critical in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that processes are optimized to improve forecast accuracy, improve stock availability, and drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT team and vendor to gather, analyze, and capture business requirements that meet business objectives and support merchandise operations
* Develop and maintain detailed business requirements documents, functional specifications, and user stories
* Analyze current forecasting and inventory management processes, identify gaps, and collaborate on improvements
* Participate in the design and configuration of the forecast and inventory management system, ensuring it aligns with business requirements and retail best practices
* Support development of reports and dashboards
* Facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams
* Assist with system testing, including creating test cases, performing user acceptance testing (UAT), and documenting results
* Track project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful delivery; Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, including risks and mitigation strategies
* Identify potential risks, issues, and roadblocks that could impact project timelines or objectives
* Facilitate training and change management support to end-users to ensure smooth adoption

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience as a business systems analyst
* Experience in retail merchandise forecasting and inventory management (item planning, PLM, replenishment, allocations, forecasting)
* Experience having been involved in at least one software implementation end to end (PLM, ERP, etc.)
* Proficiency in driving the definition of requirements, creating business requirements documents, test cases, being involved in UAT, etc.
* Strong Word and Excel skills and PowerPoint skills
* Working cross functionally between vendor partner, business team and IT teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
