Garmin International seeks Technical Lead Antenna Engineer (Olathe, KS; Multiple Positions):
Requirements:
Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with focus on antennas and electromagnetics and 7 years of industry experience in antenna design for consumer electronics.
Must show demonstrated experience in the following:
In lieu of a Masters plus 7 years of experience, we will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 9 years of progressive industry experience in antenna design for consumer electronics.

Garmin International seeks Technical Lead Antenna Engineer (Olathe, KS; Multiple Positions):
- Provides key technical contributions in the design and review of complex antenna design that are new to Garmin.
- Proposes antenna architecture consisting of one or more antennas in one product.
- Provides significant contribution to antenna design reviews across multiple product types.
- Evaluates new antenna manufacturing technologies, features and functions.
- Defines general approaches as well as specific solutions to technical problems considered state of the art.
- Applies extensive technical expertise and analysis to all assigned projects.
- Demonstrates innovation in antenna design.
- Mentors and provides guidance to less experienced antenna engineers (Antenna Engineer, Senior Antenna Engineer).
Requirements:
Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with focus on antennas and electromagnetics and 7 years of industry experience in antenna design for consumer electronics.
Must show demonstrated experience in the following:
- Ability to develop and review complex antenna designs including simulations, prototyping and measurements
- Designing naturally resonant (or with matching network) multiband antennas
- Designing antenna system architectures consisting of one or more antennas
- conducting radiation performance measurements
- Working with a cross-functional team to define antenna requirements
- Communicating ideas and concepts to both technical and business colleagues
- Innovator of at least one (1) granted U.S. Patent (utility) or innovation award related to antenna
