Salary: $125k - $135k



Position Purpose:


The Financial Systems & BI Reporting Analyst plays a pivotal role in transforming raw financial and operational data into actionable insights. This dual-role position is responsible for maintaining, developing, and optimizing business intelligence tools and financial systems to support data-driven decision-making. It serves as a bridge between Finance, Operations, and IT, ensuring the alignment of reporting capabilities with strategic business goals.



Key Responsibilities:


Business Intelligence & Reporting



  • Design and build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and create effective data visualizations.

  • Define KPIs with clear objectives and track performance trends.

  • Perform detailed analysis using DAX, SQL, and other scripting tools.

  • Maintain data accuracy, conduct data cleaning, and develop data models.

  • Execute and optimize ETL processes to support enterprise data needs.

  • Create documentation and user guides for reports and dashboards.


Financial Systems Analysis



  • Develop and support financial reports within ERP and accounting platforms.

  • Analyze structured and unstructured financial data to identify insights and trends.

  • Maintain financial reporting systems, ensuring system uptime and data integrity.

  • Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot and improve systems functionality.

  • Provide user training, support, and access control within financial systems.

  • Lead or support improvement initiatives for business processes and workflows.


Process Improvement & Collaboration



  • Recommend new technologies and third-party tools to enhance financial analytics.

  • Work across departments-especially with Finance, Sales, and Operations-to support business needs.

  • Assist with compliance activities and internal audits through data documentation.

  • Drive system enhancements and participate in cross-functional project initiatives.

  • Ensure the security and proper use of BI and financial tools across the organization.



Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in financial systems analysis, data analytics, or BI reporting.

  • Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Excel, and other visualization and analytics tools.

  • Experience with financial ERP systems, data warehousing, and APIs.

  • Strong knowledge of DAX, data modeling, and process optimization.
