Senior Application & Data Analyst (ASP.NET, Angular, SQL Server
Location : Washington DC (Client is expecting at least 1 day a month on site at this time)
Duration : Long term 12+ months
11-15 years of experience. Senior Data Analyst is to provide data analysis and data management support within the data management team in the CIO's office for various projects and business needs for multiple education data systems.

This is a highly skilled position and this resource needs to be familiar with educational data requirements and policies as outlined by state and federal regulations for data reporting.
This position will also require the resource to develop and maintain databases for reporting framework and storage of data.
The Senior Data Analyst shall have knowledge and strong competency with SQL, SQLDB design/development including stored procedures, understanding data structures and cross-functional hierarchies to address the needs of the business and strong communication skills to communicate data hierarchy management procedures and rules to non- technical stakeholders.
Duties:
1. Develop analytical tools and reporting modules
2. Manage SQL Server databases
3. Configure and maintain database servers and processes
4. Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
5. Provide suggestions for solutions when troubleshooting
6. Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
7. Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
8. Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems
9. Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hour
Qualifications:
1. Minimum Education/Certification Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
2. Knowledge and skills in managing large complex data sets proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, AJAX and MVC.
3. The Applications Technical Specialist shall have 15+ years of relevant work experience with strong competency with SQL, SQLDB design/development including stored procedures, understanding data structures and cross-functional hierarchies to address the needs of the business and strong communication skills to communicate data hierarchy management procedures and rules to non-technical stakeholders.
4. The Application Technical Specialist shall have 10+ years of experience with MS SSIS, MS SSRS, ETL processes and working with large datasets. The candidate should have experience of working in critical production environments that rely heavily on data processes.
5. Experience of working with business stakeholders to support their analytics needs.
6. Proficiency with angular 6.0, ASP.NET, and Web API data set management
7. Proficiency with Data Modeling and ER Studio
