Data Analyst

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Data Analyst for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in San Jose, CA .

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with the Data Architect/Engineering to operationalize and monitor data pipelines using existing tools and frameworks
• Perform data validation checks to ensure data completeness, consistency, and accuracy
• Investigate and troubleshoot data anomalies, missing data, and data flow issues
• Support clean data and metric needs for analytics
• Build and maintain data quality dashboards or reports for proactive issue detection
• Document key processes, known data issues, and resolution steps to support team-wide transparency

Required Skills :

• Expertise in working with large data sets using SQL
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability.
• Ability to spot inconsistencies, run sanity checks, and apply QA best practices
• familiar with how data flows through modern pipelines and how to monitor for failures
• Hands-On coding experience with at least one programming language (Python/R)
• Hands-on experience working with Cloud Platform e.g. Databricks. Ability to build and run data pipelines in Cloud.
• Experience in developing sophisticated reports/dashboards using Tableau & Power BI.
• Good attention to detail and ability to stitch and QA multiple data sources.
• Adobe Analytics or Customer Journey Analytics experience is a plus.
• 5-9 Years of Experience
