Title:

Administrative Specialist

KBR is seeking an experienced Administrative Specialist to provide direct support to the Program Manager (PM) and Principal Deputy PM (DPM) for a Naval Air Systems Command Program Office.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Drafts correspondence for PM/DPM signature, de-conflict program office calendars across multiple computer systems and support the office in data retrieval, transfer and archiving efforts.
  • Provides general administrative support including answering and transferring incoming calls, scheduling appointments, reserving conference rooms, and implementing administrative security measures.
  • Assists the office with managing and retaining program documentation/program schedules on a classified network to include, but not be limited to configuration management, folder setup, and management of all task documentation to ease access, review, retrieval, and filing of all task-related documentation/briefs.
  • Prepare and process travel order requests and vouchers/sub-vouchers in accordance with NAVPERS instructions and joint regulations.
  • Maintain records of travel orders and voucher submittals, dates submitted and track progress as required.
  • Provides documentation development and support program office data calls, briefs, and documentation requests.
  • Maintains office supply stocks and order supplies when necessary.
  • Travel (5-10%) is required for this position.
  • This position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required.


Basic Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.


Experience:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a customer and business-oriented position is required.
  • A final DoD Top Secret clearance is required. A current SSBI or Federal Investigative Standard Tier 5 (T5) or Tier 5 Reinvestigation (T5R) within the last 5 years.
  • Must be able to travel as required for role.
  • Must work on-site as remote work is not allowed for this role.


Preferred Experience

  • Must be able to work in a dynamic, complex security environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Knowledgeable of Navy organizational structure.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office (including Project) and Adobe products
  • Professionalism and customer service
  • Experience with Defense Travel System (DTS) is preferred
