Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Product Manager, Pricing Technologies for a contract assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in San Jose, CA. This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week onsite.
Interested in helping the client scale to meet the needs of thousands of our most valuable customers? We are looking for a product manager who enjoys solving problems, collaborates easily, and embodies all of our core values (Genuine, Exceptional, Innovative, Involved).
As a member of the Buying Programs organization, you will work in close partnership with multiple teams to prioritize and drive projects that are top-of-mind for the business. This is an outstanding opportunity to collaborate with product, engineering, go-to-market, and sales teams in addition to all supporting functions in Finance and Operations!
This position requires someone who can jump from high-level strategic problem solving to execution seamlessly. The ideal candidate will also have the business savvy to understand the appropriate considerations needed for thoughtful decision-making, has a strong internal drive, and a track record of leading projects from end-to-end.
This role will include a 30-day probationary period.

Responsibilities:
- Drive product ownership by creating, prioritizing, and testing user stories aligned with business needs, project dependencies, and strategic goals.
- Develop and refine user stories, ensuring prioritization based on customer impact and organizational objectives.
- Define clear acceptance criteria and collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and end users to develop and carry out test plans.
- Champion the creation and upkeep of system and process documentation for transparency and scalability.
- Build positive relationships with collaborators, guiding them through impact analysis, user acceptance testing, and adoption of changes that deliver measurable business value.
- Act as a trusted subject matter expert on business processes and systems for both internal teams and customer-facing initiatives.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of full-time, meaningful, and relevant work experience.
- Experience in a pricing-focused role, with demonstrated expertise in pricing strategy, analysis, and execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to research and identify issues, root cause, and proposed resolution
- Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization
- Proven confidence and flexibility in dynamic environments with ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Approach work with positive energy, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning
- Working knowledge of standard software applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Acrobat, Outlook)
- Scrum and business change management certification a plus
- Nice to have skills include experience with Jira, SAP, Atlassian Confluence, Tableau, Salesforce.com, and automation processes
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
