RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a SDET

Summary:
We are looking for a Software Engineer in Test who is passionate about innovative technologies, frameworks, and design patterns. This person will be joining a team of engineers passionate about engineering testing solutions for the Wealth Solutions Implementation product area. The SDET will apply strong software development and test automation skills to craft, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software solutions. They will also be supporting their team in adopting standard methodologies to ensure we are building the right product, and we are building it right. Overall, the SDET will have an appetite for learning, evaluating, and recommending new technologies.

Duties:
* Focus on the deployment automation and orchestration
* Assist with code branches, merges, builds pipelines, manage versioning, etc.
* Use your knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design, promote proper software engineering and bug prevention strategies, testability and security
* Actively participate in the development process through writing and maintain application features and automated tests including unit tests, component tests, integration tests, functional tests, performance tests, scenario tests and interoperability tests
* Collaborate with team members on improving team's test coverage, release velocity and production health

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience in crafting and implementing robust QA strategies and test frameworks for API, Web, and native mobile applications, with deep expertise in end-to-end validation
* Experience in test automation (Playwright, Cypress, Rest Assured, JUnit, Espresso, XCTest, XCUITest, Test NG, Maven)
* Experience with DevOps/Pipelines (Jenkins Core, LWC, Monorepo, etc.)
* Experience with source control (GitHub, Stash (Bitbucket), Sourcetree)
* Cloud experience preferred - Amazon Web Services (AWS)
* Top skills needed: Front end, Playwright, Xray, chaos, Splunk, Datadog, node.js, Java, Java Script, SQL, Jenkins core
* Knowledge of mobile landscape, architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture), trends and new technologies used in crafting performant and resilient native iOS and Android Apps
* Good understanding of accessibility features and building and testing accessible experiences on Web, iOS and Android

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
