Provides a high level of technical support (development, testing, integration and implementation) of applications and interfaces which deliver IT tools and support business functions across the health system. Performs project management, requirements definitions, systems design, analysis, code development, problem resolution and vendor coordination.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
No licensure or certification required.
Professional Experience Requirements:
If a Bachelor's degree: Four (4) years of experience with IT systems and/or related operational experience.
If an Associate's degree: Six (6) years of IT systems and/or related operational experience.
If a High School diploma or GED: Eight (8) years of IT systems and/or related operational experience.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
Excellent analytical and communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Highly responsive to internal customers.

Responsibilities:
Oncology Scheduling Workflow Support & Optimization
- Support, maintain, and enhance oncology scheduling workflows within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Optimize infusion scheduling and oncology clinic scheduling workflows to improve operational efficiency and patient experience.
- Collaborate with oncology clinic and infusion center staff to ensure scheduling workflows align with clinical protocols and operational needs.
- Participate in or lead projects related to oncology scheduling improvements, including upgrades, new feature rollouts, and integration with other Epic modules or third-party systems.
Patient-Guided Scheduling
- Support the design and maintenance of patient-guided scheduling tools for oncology services, including MyChart self-scheduling workflows.
- Evaluate and optimize self-scheduling pathways to reduce friction and support timely access to care for oncology patients.
- Partner with patient access teams and oncology operational leaders to streamline the self-scheduling experience, ensuring it integrates seamlessly with oncology care delivery.
Preferred:
- Experience with Epic Beacon, Epic Cadence, and infusion scheduling.
- Strong understanding of oncology care workflows, including multidisciplinary coordination and treatment scheduling.
- Experience supporting or building patient self-scheduling solutions.
- Familiarity with Epic tools like MyChart, Infusion Template Generator, and Appointment Request Workqueues
