Job Description

San Diego Gas & Electric is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support project scheduling, documentation control, communication, reporting, and training activities. This role involves updating project plans, tracking milestones, validating data, and preparing status reports and presentations for stakeholders and leadership.

This position requires strong organizational skills, PMO experience, and hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Project and the MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate project meetings, workshops, and reviews.

  • Maintain and update project plans, timelines, and documentation.

  • Support PMO processes, project lifecycle tracking, and task management.

  • Assist with data collection, data validation, and project tracking.

  • Prepare status reports, dashboards, and PowerPoint presentations.

  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and stakeholder coordination.

  • Support training activities and ensure compliance with project documentation standards.

Required Skills

  • 5 6 years of experience in project management or project coordination.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with MS Project, MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong attention to detail; highly organized.

  • Experience with project scheduling, documentation control, reporting, and workflow management.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

  • Knowledge of PMO methodologies, project lifecycle processes, and cross-team collaboration.
