Product Manager, Store Systems

Remote Eligible (Pacific Time Zone hours) - Preference for Bay Area candidates

We are seeking a Product Manager to help define the vision and execution of store systems that enable operational excellence and inventory accuracy across a leading beauty retail client's stores. This role focuses on platforms and applications that support inventory management, supply chain integration, and store operations, ensuring seamless experiences for both associates and customers.

You will drive product vision, roadmap development, and implementation within a complex business and technical environment. This position requires strong collaboration across Store Experience, Business Operations, Analytics, Engineering, and UX teams, and demands a candidate who can communicate a clear product vision to both business and technical partners.
Key Responsibilities
  • Product Vision & Roadmap
    • Define and execute the product vision for store systems, including inventory management and operational tools.
    • Drive roadmap development and delivery for Agile development teams.
    • Collaborate with other product managers to assess cross-platform impacts and align on enterprise priorities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Partner with executive stakeholders to balance competing priorities and ensure alignment.
    • Communicate effectively across business and technical teams to drive consensus.
  • Performance & Continuous Improvement
    • Define success metrics (KPIs) for store systems and monitor progress.
    • Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, supply chain visibility, and associate productivity.
    • Stay informed on industry trends in retail technology and supply chain solutions.
  • Process & Delivery
    • Lead Agile ceremonies and ensure timely delivery of features.
    • Create and maintain processes to support strategy execution.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience
    • 3-5+ years in product development or related roles, with a successful history of launching operational or inventory-focused products.
    • Strong understanding of retail store systems, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
    • Experience with Agile development cycles and release management.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills
    • Familiarity with inventory management platforms, ERP systems, and supply chain technologies.
    • Comfortable with analytics tools (e.g., Adobe, Tableau) and data-driven decision-making.
    • Experience with JIRA, roadmap tools, and Agile methodologies.
  • Leadership & Communication
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; able to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
    • Highly organized, adaptable, and self-sufficient.
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field (Master's degree a plus).
