RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a growing and established global company, is seeking a Senior Operations Manager. We are working with the hiring manager on this search assignment. The Senior Operations Manager will be overseeing full operations for a growth-oriented Division within the aerospace and defense company. They will be a key member of the site's senior leadership team and will drive operational excellence in alignment with the company's commitment to innovation, precision, and customer success. This role offers a competitive compensation package including base salary and bonprofit sharing.
Responsibilities:
* Direct leadership of a high-performing operations team (around 40 employees), including managers, technicians, and specialists
* Coach, develop, and inspire top talent
* Leadership of all operations functions: supply chain, materials management, electronic manufacturing, assembly, and test as it relates to high reliable electronic assemblies for use in various applications
* Development and execution of integrated operational strategies to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and continuous improvement targets
* Accountability for S&OP coordination, including proposal support, resource and capital planning, and cross-functional alignment
* P&L responsibility for the operations area, with active involvement in shaping the business unit's financial strategy and performance outcomes
* Senior-level partnership with engineering, quality, and program management to ensure seamless execution and innovation
* Customer service for product as it is processed through the operations value stream
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in - Engineering, Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain
* MBA or advanced business/technical degree is a plus
* 9-12+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, preferably within aerospace, defense, medical, or other highly regulated industries
* Demonstrated success leading complex electric manufacturing environments and managing leaders and others within the division
* Deep expertise in lean manufacturing, operational excellence, and business process transformation
* Strong business acumen with the ability to navigate between strategic and tactical decision-making
* Proven record of building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation
* Experience driving cross-functional influence and stakeholder alignment in matrixed organizations
* Track record of measurable impact on cost, delivery, and quality performance
* This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
