Our Client is seeking a highly experienced Systems Analyst 3 with comprehensive expertise as a Data Administrator focused on Oracle, AWS, and cloud-native architecture. This position is critical to clients transformation objectives, dedicating efforts to modernizing legacy systems, implementing modular and scalable data solutions, and ensuring agile delivery. The role requires a blend of technical depth in database administration and strategic system analysis to support key business functions.

responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities Database & Systems Administration

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Oracle Database architecture, administration, and performance tuning.
  • Manage and configure high availability and disaster recovery solutions, specifically using Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) and Oracle Data Guard.
  • Perform routine and complex database operations, including backup, restore, and recovery using RMAN.
  • Develop, write, and optimize complex SQL, PL/SQL procedures, and queries to ensure high data integrity and performance.
  • Ensure secure and efficient management of data across both legacy and updated cloud-native systems.
Cloud & Architecture Modernization
  • Apply extensive knowledge of cloud-native database services and PaaS offerings.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure, including data storage options, cloud security considerations, and best practices for cloud application deployment (specifically AWS).
  • Play a critical role in facilitating the migration and transformation of monolithic, on-premises data structures to modular, microservice-aligned schemas.
  • Support DevOps environments and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless database changes.
  • Uphold architectural governance and promote collaboration among cross-functional teams to enable agile delivery.
Systems Analysis & Strategic Alignment
  • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and existing problems to identify and propose solutions for automation or system improvement.
  • Conduct studies and perform cost/benefit analysis of alternative solutions in alignment with business objectives.
  • Confers with organizational personnel to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and define specific input/output requirements.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and big data analytics to enhance healthcare data systems.



qualifications:

Minimum Requirements (Must-Have)


Candidates must possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in the following areas:


Data Architecture & Modeling: Experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing.


Oracle Database Expertise: Proficient in Oracle Database architecture, administration, and performance tuning.


Oracle High Availability: Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) configuration and management, including strong knowledge of Oracle Data Guard and high availability/disaster recovery strategies.


Advanced Query Skills: Proficient in writing complex SQL, PL/SQL, procedures, and performance-optimized queries.


Cloud Infrastructure: Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management, including understanding of cloud-based data storage options, cloud security considerations, and best practices for deploying applications in the cloud (AWS preferred).


Data Strategy: Experience developing and maintaining enterprise data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support analytics and reporting.


Emerging Technology: Experience evaluating and integrating emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and big data analytics in a healthcare or large enterprise context.


DevOps: Ability to work effectively in DevOps environments with CI/CD pipelines for database changes.


Backup & Recovery: Experience in database backup, restore, and recovery operations using RMAN.
