Role Title: Junior Training Specialist (OCM Support)

Duration: 6 months with high likelihood of extensions

Preferred Location: Remote working CT time zone

Role Description:
We are seeking a motivated and creative Junior Training & Communications Specialist to support our Organizational Change Management (OCM) team in driving user adoption after system go-live. This role will focus on developing engaging training materials, quick reference guides, instructional videos, and communication content that help end users transition smoothly to new processes and technologies.

You'll collaborate closely with the team to translate technical and business information into clear, user-friendly learning and communication materials.

Design and develop training materials, including eLearning content, slide decks, and instructor-led training guides.

Create quick reference guides (QRGs) and other on-demand resources to support end users post-go-live.

Develop short instructional or explainer videos to simplify complex processes or demonstrate new system features.

Draft and distribute communications, including email campaigns, newsletters, and internal announcements to support change adoption.

Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and OCM leads to ensure messaging and materials are aligned with project goals and branding.

Assist in gathering feedback and metrics to measure adoption and training effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in communications, instructional design, training development, or change management support.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify technical content for a broad audience.
  • Experience with video editing tools
  • Basic understanding of OCM principles and user adoption best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and visual design sense.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines
