Job Details

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
  • Analyze ITSM activities of the platform and provide feedback loop to development teams on operational gaps or resiliency concerns
  • Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, capacity planning and launch reviews.
  • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health. Hands on experience on SPLUNK and DYNATRACE to build telemetry around service.
  • Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
  • Support the application CI/CD pipeline for promoting software into higher environments through validation and operational gating, and lead Mastercard in DevOps automation and best practices.
  • Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.
  • Take a holistic approach to problem solving, by connecting the dots during a production event thru the various technology stack that makes up the platform, to optimize mean time to recover
  • Work with a global team spread across tech hubs in multiple geographies and time zones
  • Share knowledge and mentor junior resources

Mandatory skills:

  • Production support experience pertaining to identity and access management
  • Strong knowledge of Application integration using Oauth, Openid connect, SAML.
  • Experience in SSO, Multifactor authentication, user journey, Biometric authentication, device based authentication.
  • Experience in certificate management, PKI, private and public key, certificate based authentication such as mutual TLS.
  • Good understanding of Linux operating systems, should be familiar with Linux commands and shell scripting
  • Cloud knowledge is mandatory, should have experience deploying applications in cloud infra such as AWS, Azure.
  • Handling critical production Incidents
  • Devops experience
  • Strong knowledge of Jenkins, XLR, groovy, should be able to automate tasks using Jenkins and XLR
  • Experience on Chef habitat based deployment, should be able to troubleshoot chef issues.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM domain, should have worked on IAM solutions such as ISAM, Okta, ForgeRock, SailPoint etc.
  • Should have experience setting up new IAM infrastructure including deployment and configuration.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities. Should be able to lead and resolve production critical issues
