Job Details
Cloud Engineer
Job location: Merrimack NH or Smithfield RI or Westlake TX
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
- Understanding of Kubernetes core concepts
- Experience in extending Kubernetes including build operators, custom resources.
- Experience leveraging Go / Python for application maintenance
- Hands-on development experience working with cloud technologies in AWS and/or Azure,
- Hands-on experience with Rancher
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins for building, deploying, and maintaining pipelines
- Ability to write, debug, and optimize Groovy scripts for Jenkins pipeline automation and job configuration
- Strong understanding of pipeline-as-code and best practices for scalable CI/CD processes
- Proven experience administering and maintaining Unix/Linux systems, including patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and principles
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment
- Familiarity with system-level debugging, log analysis, and ensuring uptime/availability of critical platform components
- Proficiency with shell scripting to automate routine maintenance tasks
- Passion for the DevOps culture
- 5+ years experience working on Kubernetes including build operators, custom resources
- 5+ years development experience in cloud technologies in AWS and/or Azure
