Global Patient Advocacy Consultant - Pharma/Biotech

The estimated pay range for this position is USD $95.00/Hr - USD $120.00/Hr
Six+ month, W2 (ONLY) contract
Mostly Remote, but prefer local to Foster City for "as needed" on-site requirements.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Global Patient Advocacy team in the implementation of strategies, materials, activities and programs that champion the goals of company and the patient community across the corporate rare disease product portfolio.
- Implement patient advocacy sponsorship programing and assist with corporate reporting.
- Support activities related to program and material development and PAG meeting and event activities, including review processes for clinical study education and enrollment.
- Collaborate with Global Patient Advocacy leadership to pull-through disease education materials and messaging in key markets in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Participate in development of materials, programs and activities
- Engage and partner with cross functional partners and PAGs to understand and respond to patients’ needs.
- Offer unique insights from the patient community to shape and validate business processes, strategies and decisions; bring in cross-functional partners.
- Stay apprised of regional compliance regulations and policies to ensure proper, appropriate engagement with PAOs.
- Develop presentations and communications to internal and external parties and stakeholders
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
- Minimum 10 years experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry and in patient advocacy or similar function.
- Fluency in multiple languages - Highly preferred
- Previous experience working successfully with global patient advocacy groups.
- Outstanding and persuasive interpersonal and communication skills; a relationship builder able to effectively present ideas, get buy-in and drive consensus across project teams.
- Flexible, adaptable, diplomatic, and able to effectively deal with ambiguity.
- Proactive, pays attention to detail with ability to anticipate and resolve problems effectively.
- Ability to collect, synthesize, and present data across the organization.
- Prioritizes activities, decisive, superior time manager and forward thinking.
- Familiarity with industry compliance and regulations.
- Highest standard of ethics.
