Job Details

Job Title: Helper
Location: Houston TX 77060
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr.
Duration: 12 Months Contract

Shift Timing: Sunday to Tuesday and every other Wednesday, or Thursday to Saturday and every other Wednesday (12-13-hour shifts)
Night Shift: 11-12-hour shifts

Interview: In-person

Job Responsibilities
  • As a Shop Helper - Tape Head, you will be responsible for:
  • Setting up, monitoring, and operating CV line(s) and other pieces of equipment under direct supervision associated with the manufacturing facility requirements.
  • Performing Tape Head operation, cleaning, and general setup, including loading and unloading products and devices in Work Center.
  • Following safety guidelines and quality standards in accordance with Job Safety Analysis (JSA), production schedule, setup instructions, and quality specs.
  • Performing quality assurance activities required by manufacturing/engineering specifications, quality assurance, and ISO requirements.
  • Training and assisting other employees as necessary.
  • Developing individual skills and collaborating with other functions to complete projects for tape line.
  • Following verbal and written instructions, maintaining accurate records, and performing other duties as required.
  • As a Shop Helper - Extrusion, you will be responsible for:
  • Setting up, monitoring, and operating extrusion line(s) and other pieces of equipment under direct supervision associated with the manufacturing facility requirements.
  • Performing Extrusion operation, cleaning, and general setup, including loading and unloading products and devices in Work Center.
  • Following safety guidelines and quality standards in accordance with Job Safety Analysis (JSA), production schedule, setup instructions, and quality specs.
  • Performing quality assurance activities required by manufacturing/engineering specifications, quality assurance, and ISO requirements.
  • Training and assisting other employees as necessary.
  • Developing individual skills and collaborating with other functions to complete projects for tape line.
  • Following verbal and written instructions, maintaining accurate records, and performing other duties as required.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
12+ months related experience.

Desired:
Mechanical skills, picking, packing, receiving, forklift
Hand tools, measurement tools, ability to read and interpret routine instructions, perform basic mathematical calculations, good mechanical aptitude, use of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment
