Job Title: PLM Project Manager (with SAP HANA Experience)

Location: Foster City, CA (Hybrid)

Pay Rate : $80/hr W2 or $85/h on c2c

Duration : 12 months contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Manage the full lifecycle of PLM or Kinaxis upgrade projects, including planning, execution, risk management, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • SAP Integration: Oversee integration points between PLM/Kinaxis and SAP HANA/S/4HANA, ensuring smooth data flows, master data alignment, and optimized performance.
  • Upgrade & Migration: Lead platform upgrade assessments, version migrations, patching, and regression testing in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and vendors (SAP, Kinaxis, PLM solution providers) to align project scope and deliverables.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure projects meet regulatory standards (FDA, GxP, SOX, ISO), especially for life sciences and manufacturing industries.
  • Cutover & Deployment: Define and execute cutover strategies, data migration plans, and validation processes.
  • Team Management: Direct cross-functional teams (functional consultants, BASIS, developers, testers, validation, change management) to achieve milestones.
  • Change Management: Drive OCM (Organizational Change Management) and training to ensure adoption of new systems and processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of IT Project Management experience with at least 5 years in SAP/PLM/Kinaxis upgrade or deployment projects.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (upgrades, migrations, integration).
  • Experience managing Kinaxis RapidResponse upgrade or PLM solution upgrades (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, SAP PLM, Dassault Enovia, PTC Windchill).
  • Strong background in supply chain, manufacturing, or life sciences domains.
  • Expertise in cutover management, data migration, and validation in regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Hybrid methodologies and global delivery models.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management skills.
