Job Title: Architectural Designer

$65,000.00-$95,000.00 base salary depending on years of experience and licenses and certifications

Bonuses and total annual compensation averages to about 30% more than the base salary

Job Summary:

Architectural Designers are responsible for translating design specifications into detailed architectural plans using both physical and digital drafting tools. They create accurate 2D and 3D models that align with client or project requirements, ensuring compliance with safety standards and relevant governmental regulations. This role demands precision, creativity, and a strong understanding of structural principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and develop architectural design specifications into technical drawings and models
  • Utilize CAD software and physical drafting tools to produce detailed 2D and 3D renderings
  • Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety standards, and government regulations
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to meet design objectives
  • Adapt designs based on feedback and project constraints
  • Maintain documentation and revise drawings as needed throughout the design process

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Architectural Design - Construction experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related structural design field (required)
  • Master s degree in Architecture (preferred for advanced roles)
  • Progress toward licensure, including completion of the Architect Registration Examination (ARE) as administered by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), may be required
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
