Job Title: SAP Implementation Engineer - Documentation & BOMs
Length: 6-month contract (possible extension)
Location: Dexter, MI - 100% onsite
Schedule/Hours: Full-time, standard business hours
Pay Range: $55-$70/hr on our W2

Job Overview:
Our client in Dexter, MI is preparing for a major SAP implementation and is seeking two SAP Engineers with Moving Average Price (MAP) methodology and strong technical writing skills. These engineers will help drive essential documentation updates related to Bills of Materials (BOMs), routing changes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), supporting a smooth go-live and post-launch environment. Experience working in a medical device or highly regulated industry is strongly preferred.
Qualifications (Required & Preferred):

Prior hands-on experience with SAP, specifically with MAP (Moving Average Price) costing methodology

Strong understanding of BOMs, routings, and material master data

Experience with technical writing and updating SOPs, process documents, and system documentation

Previous work in a medical device (MDT) or FDA-regulated manufacturing environment

Understanding of change control and documentation compliance standards

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work 100% onsite in Dexter, MI
Tasks & Responsibilities:

Support SAP implementation activities focused on MAP-based costing, BOM, and routing accuracy

Update and maintain all relevant technical documentation including SOPs, work instructions, and training material

Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to ensure process alignment with system configuration

Identify and correct documentation gaps, working in compliance with regulatory standards

Provide functional SAP support post-go-live to assist with stabilization and optimization
