Job Description Summary
We are looking for a full-stack software engineer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience responsible for designing, building, delivering and maintaining software applications. The candidate will be responsible for software development lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures and implementation with a flexible work option.

Responsibilities

Include but not limited to:
  • Collaborate with senior software developers and product managers to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions.
  • Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean & Agile, CI, security, documentation practices, refactoring and testing techniques.
  • Write codes that meets software quality metrics and delivers desired functionality.
  • Build, deploy, and support frontend, backend, and API features for software products.
  • Understand performance parameters and assess application performance.
  • Develop well performing data structures and software for multi-dimensional data.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software development.

Eligibility Requirements
  • The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered.
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

Desired Characteristics
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as C#, Python, ASP.NET, WPF, ASP.NET Core, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, AngularJS, BackboneJS, EmberJS, KnockoutJS, and Fortran.
  • Experience interfacing with databases such as SQLServer or Oracle.
  • Experience with Web services.
  • Aware of methods and practices such as Lean/Agile/XP, etc.
  • Prior work experience in an agile environment, or introductory training on Lean/Agile.
  • Aware of and able to apply continuous integration (CI).
  • Experience using modern development tooling such as Git and testing frameworks.
  • General understanding of the impacts of technology choice to the software development life cycle.

The base pay range for this position is $86K - $112K. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonvariable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 5/23/25.

The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
