Job Description:

Information Security Analyst

Location: San Antonio, TX (onsite 4 days/week)

Contract: 12 month contract (Possibility to extension)

Compensation: $30/hr.+ (Flexible depending on experience)

Job Responsibilities:
  • 2-4 years of Information Security/Information Technology or Governance Risk & Compliance / Third Party Risk Management experience
  • Candidate will provide oversight of 3P assessments which have been conducted to ensure proper Governance Risk and Compliance to the companies standards and policies. Peer Review other teams works providing support in closing issues and findings of gaps with a vendors IT/IS, Privacy programs.
  • Provides peer reviews of IT/IS assessment of vendors.
  • Data entry of findings identified, tracking gaps and working with peers to move process forward and improve processes were needed.
  • Assist in determining Inherent Risk of Vendors contracting engagement with sharing of data and/or connections in line with Third Party Risk Management program.
  • Clearly articulate requirements when engaging senior level executives to discuss qualifying questions withing inherent risk questionnaire.


Technical Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of NIST Cyber Framework
  • Strong background in IT Security Risk Assessments
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Strong writing and issue remediation knowledge as it relates to Information Security and Technology risk domains.
  • Certification with some level of work experience in this area (TPRM/Governance, vendor assessments) - Security+, CTPRP, CISA, CRISC.
