Location: Plano, TX (hybrid 3 days per week onsite)
Duration: 6-month contract

Job Description:
Job Title: Data Engineer (AWS | Java | Python | Snowflake | Kafka)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data processing systems using AWS services, Java, Python, and Snowflake. You will be responsible for developing robust ETL pipelines, integrating real-time data streams using Kafka, and optimizing performance across cloud-native data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using AWS services (S3, Lambda).
- Write and optimize ETL processes in Java and Python.
- Build and manage data solutions on Snowflake using SQL.
- Integrate and manage real-time data streams via Kafka.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Work with large datasets and ensure system scalability and performance.
- (Nice to have) Write data transformation jobs using Scala.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with AWS (particularly S3 and Lambda).
- Proficiency in Java and Python programming.
- Solid knowledge of SQL with experience using Snowflake.
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka for data streaming.
- (Nice to have) Experience with Scala for distributed data processing.
