Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Location: Onsite Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 12 Months

Job Overview:
The State of Arizona is seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong Agile/Scrum expertise to lead the technical delivery of a large, enterprise-level software implementation. This role involves coordinating multiple project managers, vendor collaboration, Agile coaching, and ensuring timely execution of the Department s technical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead cross-functional teams across the project lifecycle (planning, execution, delivery).
Guide project managers supporting enterprise software implementation.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, reviews, retros).
Promote Agile best practices and help build self-sustaining Agile teams.
Manage progress using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure SLA compliance and technical delivery.
Oversee integration with external and legacy systems.
Develop and maintain risk management and compliance plans (NIST, FedRAMP).
Support Organizational Change Management (OCM) and stakeholder communication.
Prepare detailed documentation: charters, schedules, RACI, retrospectives, etc.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
10+ years of project management experience (3+ years Agile/Scrum).
Experience leading large-scale enterprise software implementations.
Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.
Strong experience with vendor coordination and technical delivery leadership.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP).
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAFe certification or PMP.
Experience in government or public sector environments.
Prior work with large consulting firms.
