Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Credit Card Processing & TSYS TS2
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract


Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with expertise in Canadian banking, credit card processing, and TSYS TS2 as an issuer processor. The ideal candidate will lead large-scale credit card initiatives, ensure compliance with banking regulations, and collaborate across the Rogers organization to deliver innovative financial products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and establish annual project objectives, managing timelines, dependencies, and testing considerations.
  • Oversee testing deliverables, including test scripts, plans, and defect resolution to maintain regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure proper controls and validations for new projects and existing platforms, proactively managing regulatory updates.
  • Manage key risks, overseeing project execution, resource allocation, and vendor coordination for seamless service delivery.
  • Guide and direct activities with internal teams and external stakeholders handling key systems at Rogers Bank.
  • Provide ongoing reporting on initiatives, highlighting risks and developing contingency plans.
  • Lead system design, testing oversight, and validation to ensure high availability and regulatory compliance.
  • Innovate using prior industry expertise, implementing new solutions and process improvements.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top project management talent to maintain a high-performing PDO team.
  • Partner with business teams in identifying and resolving production defects related to credit card processing.
  • Provide 24/7 production issue identification and resolution support, when necessary.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • University degree or college diploma.
  • 5+ years of experience in application development.
  • 5+ years in financial services, specializing in credit cards and TSYS TS2.
  • Experience with Canadian credit card launches, including TSYS TS2 migration projects.
  • Strong expertise in credit card system integration, including statements, plastics, data warehouses, IVR, telephony, and loyalty systems.
  • Proven ability to integrate vendors for IT solutions that interface with TSYS TS2 platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of TSYS options and change protocols.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities up to senior management levels.
  • Expertise in translating business requirements into technical specifications for system improvements.
