Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement backend architecture using Supabase or Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Realtime Database, Cloud Functions, Storage, Supabase SQL, Edge Functions). Preferred Supabase.
  • Develop secure and scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs for web and mobile apps.
  • Integrate backend services with third-party APIs and cloud infrastructure.
  • Manage real-time data synchronization and optimize database queries.
  • Ensure data security, role-based access control, and compliance with best practices.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, serverless functions, and cloud deployment workflows.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize backend services for scalability.
  • Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Supabase (Postgres, Auth, Realtime, Functions) or Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Hosting). Preferred Supabase
  • Solid understanding of backend development, APIs, and serverless architecture.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL optimization, and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT, role-based access control).
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure).
  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Git, CI/CD workflows, and testing frameworks
