Position Overview: This position will work closely with mechanical, electrical, and control system engineers to facilitate the successful implementation of our CPQ (Configure/Cost-Price-Quote) software tool. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in software implementation, project management, and a background in engineering.

Project Overview

Developing an internal CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tool to streamline the proposal process. The tool functions similarly to a car configurator (e.g., BMW s website), allowing users to select features and options.

Role Overview

The position is titled Modeler, which is essentially a programming role. Modelers will work closely with engineering and procurement departments to implement the CPQ tool. The tool uses a proprietary language, but C# is the closest analogy. Any strong programming background is acceptable.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers to implement logic into the CPQ system.

Work within a multinational team (split between Europe and Orlando, FL).

Maintain and contribute to documentation throughout the project.

Occasionally attend off-hours meetings (e.g., 4 AM or 9 PM) to coordinate with international colleagues.

Travel to Germany for 2 3 weeks for in-depth training.

Must have

Strong programming background (C# preferred).

Engineering knowledge is a plus but can be taught.

Comfortable working in a global, collaborative environment.

Flexible with working hours and open to international travel.
