Overview:
The Citrix and VDI Systems Engineer is a critical professional responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of daily remote access technologies. This role involves managing performance, rectifying errors within the Citrix and VDI service, and ensuring applications are verified for deployment. The engineer will also administer the core tools within the Citrix environment and help maintain overall platform stability and security
Job Responsibilities
Monitor, maintain, operate, and troubleshoot daily remote access technologies, with a primary focus on Citrix and VDI services
Manage performance and rectify errors within the Citrix and VDI service environment
Verify applications for deployment via Citrix and VDI
Manage clients' or the company's Citrix systems, VDI, and other related technologies
Handle all administration tools within the Citrix environment
Provide necessary support for Citrix Infrastructure
Check and control servers and offer effective solutions to identified problems
Support and preserve the institution's Virtual Desktop setup, including VDI
Assist in the organization and management of business applications
Analyze and address increased case volume received by the IT Helpdesk
Continuously improve and adjust the Virtual Desktop system
Design and implement platform security measures
Participate in upgrading, updating, and installing applications with up-to-date descriptions
Strengthen applications, Windows servers, and the principal operating system
Provide technical assistance for all applicable servers, desktops, and business services
Maintain full control and accountability for applying, implementing, maintaining, and examining the documentation of the Virtual Desktop environment
Travel may be required
