Job Details

An Inside Order Specialist is responsible for accurately processing customer orders for Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) including ASE / AVPN and other telecommunications services, by collecting and inputting detailed information into order forms/internal systems, ensuring timely order fulfilment and adherence to company policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Order Entry: Receive customer orders via PSS Sales and/or Engineering roles, carefully verifying all details like customer information, service address, desired bandwidth and circuit connection details

Data Input: Accurately input customer order details into order management system or order forms adhering to data integrity standards and system guidelines.

Order Validation: Review orders for accuracy, identifying potential issues like service availability, address verification, and resolve them proactively.

Service Provisioning: Initiate the necessary steps to provision services based on customer orders, including coordinating with network engineering teams to drive service activation and order completion

Escalation Management: Identify and escalate order issues to relevant departments for resolution, ensuring timely customer service.

Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to order processing, data privacy, and sales practices.

System Proficiency: Maintain expertise in using order management systems, including proficiency with order tracking tools and reporting functionalities.
