Note: Candidate must have migration experience from Oracle to Azure
Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and highly motivated PL/SQL Developers with strong Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) domain expertise to join our growing team. This is a 100% remote opportunity, ideal for candidates who can work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL code, including dynamic SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and validations.
- Migration to ORacle Microsoft Azure and experience in Azure DevOps will be a plus
- Work closely with business teams and cross-functional internal teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable database logic.
- Design and implement data validation logic and transformations as part of ETL processes.
- Analyze and support large datasets across multiple database environments.
- Independently manage deliverables and proactively resolve issues related to data accuracy, performance, and logic.
- Support integration efforts with healthcare systems and PBM applications.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in PL/SQL development, including complex logic, performance tuning, and dynamic SQL.
- Must have domain experience in Healthcare / Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) minimum 2 years.
- Hands-on experience with at least one ETL tool (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Oracle Data Integrator, etc.).
- Proficient with multiple databases, including:
- Oracle Database
- MySQL
- NoSQL databases
- PostgreSQL
- Microsoft SQL Server
- SQLite
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in HIPAA-compliant environments or with healthcare data.
- Background in pharmacy claims, eligibility, or drug formulary systems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
