Job Description:
An experienced Automation Solution Architect to lead the Digital Process Automation (DPA) Center of Excellence (CoE) for strategic retail and manufacturing clients. This role demands deep expertise in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) particularly UiPath alongside hands-on experience in Generative AI and emerging Agentic AI technologies. The ideal candidate will blend technical leadership, solution architecture, and stakeholder engagement to drive enterprise-wide intelligent automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing automation solutions across business domains including supply chain, finance, operations, and customer service.
Lead end-to-end automation lifecycle: opportunity identification, feasibility analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation and AI opportunities, define solution architecture, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Drive platform readiness, tool capability enablement, and best-fit design strategies for complex use cases.
Integrate RPA and GenAI solutions with enterprise systems using APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and structured/unstructured data formats (XML, JSON, CSV).
Explore and pilot Agentic AI capabilities to augment traditional automation with autonomous decision-making and adaptive workflows.
Establish and enforce CoE governance, coding standards, reusable components, and documentation practices.
Mentor and guide teams of RPA developers, AI engineers, and domain SMEs, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Monitor solution performance, ensure alignment with KPIs, and recommend enhancements.
Ensure seamless integration of automation solutions with existing IT infrastructure, applications, and databases.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
At least 7+ years of experience in AI/ML, with a minimum of 3+ years in Generative AI technologies.
Proven experience leading AI initiatives in a CoE or enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of retail/manufacturing processes and AI-driven transformation use cases.
Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, LLaMA), prompt engineering, and fine-tuning.
Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as LangChain, Hugging Face Transformers, and OpenAI APIs.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with hybrid AI + RPA automation environments.
Familiarity with MLOps, model monitoring, and responsible AI practices.
Experience integrating Gen AI with enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow).
Strong understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance in AI applications.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for client interactions and proposal development.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform) and deploying AI solutions at scale.
Ability to create and maintain documentation (WBS, PDD, SSD) and test scenarios supporting agile development
