Job Description

Client is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. We are currently implementing a new module in our Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to store and maintain our employee master records and integrate with many of our existing modules to support recruiting, onboarding, performance and goals, learning management, payroll, etc.

Client is in need of a contract Business Analyst who will work directly with HR and HR IT teams and with members of the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Implementation project team to write business process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOP s) and work instructions, for our new/revised HRIS system. As well as help with collecting and populating data for new fields and defining data governance guidelines.

Qualifications:

Required (must have):

  • Business acumen in the field of HR
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills to interact with staff, colleagues, management, executives, and internal/external customers
  • Inquisitiveness and ability to ask in-depth questions to fully understand and document processes in a structured, logical manner
  • Independent worker with initiative who takes charge of learning a system on their own
  • Facilitate workstream discussions to align and document decisions
  • Experience in writing business requirements
  • Excellent written skills to author SOP s and WI s, including previous work experience in doing so
  • Strong analytical abilities to determine how and why, as well as a creative problem solver to put forth ideas for resolution or improvement
  • Ability to work cross-functionally between HR operational teams, as well as cross-regionally with HR teams in other countries
  • Ability to relay business requirements to the IT team and participate in technical-functional discussions.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical terms to non-technical users; ability to articulate and explain systems functions in a simplistic way to users
  • Leadership qualities including ability to coordinate and lead small projects including defining tasks, target dates, and tracking progress.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS Excel including ability to perform VLOOKUP on multiple spreadsheets of data

Preferred (nice to have):

  • Working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • Previous involvement in the deployment or optimization of an ERP system
  • Experience in researching best practices for various governance structures and determining and defining a governance process for master data management

Education/Experience:

  • 5 + years work experience as a Business Analyst
